These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Uni-Verse (the "App", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Uni-Verse. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Description of Service
Uni-Verse is a productivity app for students, offering task management, a daily/weekly planner, note-taking, and an achievements system. Uni-Verse may in the future offer university discovery and comparison tools.
3. Accounts
You may sign in using Google, Facebook, or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Upload content that is abusive, harassing, or infringes on others' rights
5. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the tasks, notes, planner entries, and other content you create in the App ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the App's functionality to you.
6. Subscriptions & Free Trial
Uni-Verse offers a free tier supported by advertisements, and an optional premium subscription with a free trial period (currently one week). Subscription pricing, billing cycle, and cancellation terms will be clearly presented at the time of purchase through the applicable app store (Google Play or Apple App Store). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date, in accordance with the app store's policies.
7. University Information Disclaimer
Any information about universities, programs, or admissions criteria presented in the App is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Users should independently verify such information directly with the relevant institution before making decisions.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, branding, logo, and underlying code, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App without our permission.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and request account deletion at any time.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully accurate at all times.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including reliance on any information displayed within it.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by general principles of fair commercial practice, without being tied to the law of any single jurisdiction, except where local law requires otherwise.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
